I'm looking for other archers in Indiana that enjoy 3d shoots. I get tired of shooting with compound shooters. I live in Lafayette and travel throughout the state for 3d shoots. I also have a nice range setup at my house. Planning to shoot 1st leg IBO Nationals, IBO State Championship, Compton Rendezvous, Midwest Traditional Championship, and IBO World Traditional. Normally camp at the larger events.

May I suggest you try to make it to the Farmland shoot at the Farmland Conservation Club. They usually have something posted in the "Shoots" forum. It is on Memorial Day weekend. I may have to miss it this year due to TWO weddings in the family that weekend. I try to never miss it.

BTW, welcome! Oh, and Cloverdale is the other I try to make it to.

It's "Trad Events and Gatherings" and the info on the Farmland Spring shoot is near the top of the page. May 24th, 25th and 26th. No long lines to wait in. Nice targets. Challenging shots. Nice grounds and club house.

Indiana Traditional Bowhunters Associantion is located in Scottsburg Indiana (about 40 miles north of Louisville KY on I65). They have a two day shoot coming up May 18-19. It's a great group of guys to shoot with.

I'm going to Nancy's Broken Arrow on the weekend of the 20/21 April. Not sure which day. It's located in Quincy, IN and is well maintained. It'll be my last warm-up before the State IBO championship. I can go either day at anytime. Sure would be nice to shoot with another traditional archer! Let me know if anyone's interested.

Nancy's is not far from you. It's 10.00 for the first time shooter. They are having a Turkey tune up next weekend. They have excellent targets and the owners run a class operation. On 231 just south of I-70. Just past Clovedale.
