Sky Hawk bows some info please!!
« on: April 17, 2013, 08:55:00 PM »
My father has a Sky Hawk with 2 sets of limbs at his pro shop. One of his customers wants to sell it. He gave me first shot at it, but the man never said what he wanted for it. I will have pictures tomorrow. This bow is for sale and I would really like to own one. What would be a fare price to offer the guy. And on top of it being in great condition, it was signed by Glen ST Charles. My father said they made a black one and a brown one this is the black.

Help me out guys how much do I spend on this bow????

I payed $350 for one with three sets of limbs just recently and I almost feel like I stole it. These bows are great performers.

Does anyone have any leads on some #40 to #50 limbs for a SKY Hawk?

Mine has #65 limbs and I'm not tough enough to shoot it anymore.

I think I broke my rotator cuff.  :(

I had one back in the 90's, the black glass model...the riser is gray/black action wood. real nice bow, I sold mine for $330 about 10 years ago. Wouldn't bother me to pay $350-375 for one now, might even go $400 for a brown one, not much for black anymore. 2nd set of limbs should be worth $100 easy.

Mine was $440 new in about'93

I'd be happy to get taken advantage of a little bit, if I could just find some lighter limbs.

It plain sucks not being able to shoot your favorite bow.
