Tiger Myrtle Veneers??
« on: April 20, 2013, 09:54:00 PM »
Hey guys, I am getting a whip made and Dan doesn't have any tiger myrtle and his supplier won't be getting any soon.  I have also tried Idaho Curt and while he has some pretty sweet Myrtle burl, still no Tiger Myrtle.  I kinda have my heart set on some Tiger Myrtle to go with some sweet dark mexican cocobolo Dan has for my riser..... any ideas where I can score some of this elusive wood?  I appreciate any help anyone can give me.  Thanks, Don.

Rosewood archery is a good place to look. I have bought some really nice tiger myrtle there.

Sent Troy a PM and will get in touch with Rosewood this week.  Thanks for the tips.  Any other suppliers out there?

Bowmarks, I would like to see those pics if you can figure it out, or have someone do it for you. I'm in the same boat as you, or I'd offer.
I don't know what they have in stock, but Rare Earth Hardwoods usually has an exceptional selection of woods. Check out their website, and see what they have to offer.
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.
