Feather Grinder?

What is the best, easy to use feather grinder? and where can I find one? Also any advice you guys could give on grinding feathers would be great.

I do them by hand. Split the quill, cut to length, clamp in fletching clamp and sand smooth with a sanding block or belt sander.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!

Check the Resource Forum. 3Rivers sells the Great Northern unit. Always wear a quality face mask.  The particles/dust from quills is bad for your lungs and health.

P@A archery makes a jig that's the best I've used. 3 rivers carries them or you can order direct from p&a

or you can make a jig.( see how to postings)  depends on how meny feathers you plan to do or trade with Magnus for completed fletchings.

I forgot to add WHAT EVER METHOD YOU USE PLEASE USE A GOOD FILTER MASK TO PROTECT YOUR SELF!  Breathing the feather dust is very bad for your health! I grind my own and use my filter mask every time!
