Curing Beaver Tail for handle wraps
« on: May 08, 2013, 02:45:00 PM »
I have some, skinned, scraped, dried beaver tail that I want to preserve and then, when ready, apply it to my handle. Denatured alchohol was recommended used with , I believe, Borax, to preserve tail before then soaking in water prior to cutting to size and applying ? Any recommendations? Thank you! Duck66Dawg, Bob
