I use a Duravane Zip Strip which peels them right off, then Goo Gone to disolve residual adhesive. A wipe down with acetone to prep the shaft and it's ready for fletching...

I had a brand of wraps that came off clean in hot water (can't remember which), and some that left a sticky slimy mess behind.  I've found the fastest way is just to scrap them off with my pocket knife and use a little Goo-Gone to get rid of any residue.

I just cut off te feathers and just run a cigarette lighter over them.It softens them up and then they peel off real easy.Boiling water works good too but with a lighter I can it there watching TV and peel them off.Its not hot enough to hurt the shaft but it works great for me.

A hair dryer to soften the glue, then peel off, use Goo-Gone to clean, acetone to prep.
