I have come so close to picking up a wheel bow for this next season, I think someone is trying to stop me. I had my shoulder rebuilt on short notice before last year's season.. and have yet to shoot anything of size with a bow. As a kid I use to wander around shooting Gophers and Carp all summer long, never thought I was shooting good enough for deer.
I was in Kentucky last year and got that urge to pick up a longbow again, after 10 years of not touching a bow, ended up with my first Hill, then got transfered to MD and couldn't pass up a deal on a second.
Now I am sitting in MD and really have been amazed at the length of the archery deer season out here, so I figured I would fill a freezer or two, since I can't get fresh beef. I am still questioning myself. So after 6 months of rehab, I am finally trying to get out and try and put a couple quivers full of arrows down range, I guess I am back where I need to be, arrows started touching each other here and there a couple days ago and I guess I wasn't paying attention when I grabbed one of my hex head blunts and ripped this to pieces.
Out $5,but It feels pretty damn good.
