55# BW PCH
VPA VForce HV 350 - 28.5"
....100 gn insert
....300 gn Big 3
....32% Ultra-EFOC
....611 gn Total arrow wt

Full length penetration from sternum thru thigh exit on a doe utilizing a 4# lighter bow...she laid down on the spot.

Shooting same arrow out of a 4# lighter bow... completely disintegrated an 18 in 1 Rhinehart target in merely 3 1/2 weeks.

Shot my only bareshaft to bareshaft robinhood with this arrow excluding the fletching.

55# Damon Howatt Dream Catcher and 600 gr / 125gr heads on Douglas Fir shafts.  I actually draw it a little over for about 59to 60#.  Shoots well and hits with great penetration.

I'm shooting a

I'm shooting in the 50's since I don't elk hunt anymore.Arros average 560 to 600+ for now but I'm trying to get closer to 9grs per #.Don't feel the added weight is needed for whitetails.

I shoot the same 608 grain arrow out of three different bows. 50#, 57#, and 62#. Maybe I'm just lucky but it works for me.

Try a 2117 in aluminum. Out of my "enhanced" 50 pound Bear A-mag (enhanced with fast flight limbs and 6 strand SBD string) I am shooting a 580 grain 2117 with 9" wrap and 5" feathers on the back end, and a glue-in-glue-on insert and 160 gr BH up front. A heavier point would get it up to 600 gr total weight easily.
With this I am close to 12 grains per pound but with the enhanced speed of the 6-strand string and a 29" draw length it shoots very well and hits hard.

52 lb St. Joe River, about 55 at my draw length.  Gold tip 35-55 arrows cut to 30” with 100 grain brass insert, 100 grain steel adapter and WW up front.

Works great for me

heavy hitters with 100 gr up front insert and a 150 gr head, shooting out of a 58@28 or a 55@28 bow both set ups fly great! also shoot fmj's with 75 in front and 150 gr heads which fly very well arrows are weighing in around 580 and 640.

55@28 or very close with all my bows. Shooting cedars with 190 up front on 65-70 shafts that come in around 625 grains. I hunt everything with that setup, from stumps to an elk if I can find a cooperative one.

55# tomahawk longbow with arrow dynamics trads 100 grain brass inserts with 175 grain vpa 3 blades. (p.s. I file down the inserts a bit to create a smooth taper form the insert to the broadhead)
