Two Pearson Deadheads rest of the story
« on: June 03, 2013, 10:52:00 AM »
Sixteen years ago my brother in law was killed in a tractor accident on some hunting property we bought together. This was a dream we had together and he was like a brother to me having only one sister and no brothers. My sister gave me some of his archery equipment that his 3-daughters did not want. Two Pearson deadheads were in the box.I put an insert on the smaller one and sharpened it but never used or shot it.Knowing they were somewhat collectable I never would have sold them but decided this year that St. Jude needed them more than me.I know this was a small donation compared to others but I think Jimmy would have approved. They sold for $40.00 bought by Gib (Gilbert Kustra).Kip

Wonderful gesture on your behalf Kip. When you told me that story when you visited I had a lump in my throat. Somehow I think he is smiling down on you my friend    :campfire:
