Why do I....
« on: June 09, 2013, 09:36:00 AM »
Why do I browse the classifeds? Don't need another bow. Didn't have any thoughts on another bow.
I think I just bought another bow. I should have gone to that 3d shoot this morning, then I wouldn't have been browsing on here. This bow is exacly the same specs as 2 others I have, so I felt it was meant to be! That's not rationalizing it, is it?

I'll be back in a minute. Meantime, I'll be browsing those terribly obscene classifieds, looking at bow porn and trying to find something in left hand at my draw weight and .......

Because Terry laces the classifieds with electronic bow crack, that's the only rational I can come up with!

If you use the slow motion function on your screen, you'll see all the subliminal messages urging you to "Look", "Read", "Buy", "Trade".  You've got to watch those moderators, they're slick!!

I have admitted I have a problem. Isn't that the first step to a cure?
Actually I'm doing better. I used to buy a bow but never got rid of any. Now when I buy one I sell something to keep the rack stable.I'm down to 15 longbows
At least my wife doesn't ask and doesn't care.

Because we are all addicted.  My wife says we need to start a rent-a-bow company to help.

It's a man thing. I've been married for 30+ years but I still appreciate beauty. Love the bows I have but love to see beautiful craftsmanship in bows, knives, leather etc. etc.

dnovo, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. So if collecting up all those bows is your destiny, then embrace it and do your work diligently.

they ask me, "Bill, are you a man or are you a mouse?"
I always reply, "I must be a man.  My wife's afraid of mice."
