The stringer that comes with it is top of the line Selway Recurve Bow Stringer.

As for the string, it is a nice one that comes with it, but like any bow, I see no reason why you couldn't change it.

The dorado is one sweet shooting bow. As far as the stringer goes. The one that comes with it it top of the line.

The SBD strings are good. The only thing I would do is have them lengthen the center serving by about an inch on the bottom. I bought one and had it break after a few months right at the bottom of the serving.

It was because of the string hitting my arm guard causing freying.  Not fault  of there's but lesson learned by me.

Have fun with the arrows. It always feels good to make them and have them tune and shoot well. I'm a carbon over aluminum  guy myself

went to on the Selway site and yes il looks like a great stringer.....
yes was looking at the carbon over aluminium arrows
like the because I think could save you problem if a carbon arrow break upon shooting,  seen ugly picture of what happen
they look slim and my question his, is it hard to put helical on these slim shaft?

No it's not hard at all. I use a Blitzenburg left helical and never had a problem.

Ahhhhh the old left or right debate. I shoot left because it seems to work for me. I honestly don't thing there is any real difference. Some of the pre fletched arrows I buy are right hand and fly fine.
I use the tape with a dot of  glue on the front and rear of the feather. I've never had a problem loosing feathers . I usually wear them out before they come off.

took a look at the carbon aluminium arrow

for 35# bow looks like like the AC injexion and the Acc pro hunter would be a good choice  with according spine of course
