Bear Paw Arm Guard with Knife Sheath
« on: August 30, 2007, 08:04:00 PM »
I asked Tim Roberts to make me a Bear Paw arm guard with a knife sheath.  Something that I could add a knife to.  They look so nice but I couldn't imagine hunting with one...just for show!  Wrong, It's a great arm guard and knife is off to the side so not in the way.  Thought I'd forge up a special knife but this little Sheep-horn caper that I'd previously made seems to fit nicely.  Kinda my present to myself from this springs bear hunt...Doc

Beatutiful colors in that arm guard.  With the knife in the armguard it eliminates the need for a neck knife.

The artistry in the trad gang blows my mind.It never ceases to amaze me the humbleness of the artists and craftsmen. In a time when so many non artists  want to walk around acting like artists, the true artists, here, walk around acting like normal people.

Those two look good together! A set like that not only looks good but i bet would be real handy in the woods or around camp.
