Hi Folks

Been doing research on here for some time.  Great site.  just started back to bare bow a couple months ago.  Started with a Samick Sage with 25# limbs to get my form back then went with the 45# limbs.  Bow shots great but I had a couple gift cards burning a hole in my pocket so I picked up a 50# Bear Super Grizzly.  Wow, this thing hits like a tank, going to need to put something behind my shot out bag target.  Can get a baseball size group at 15 yards with ease, well when I do my part it does. Not as pretty as the Widow that I have my heart set on but then I'm pretty hard on equipment and this little bow is pretty darn smooth.

The Super grizzlies are great bows, i have plenty of bows but will never let go of the griz.

Congrats!  Welcome to TG.  We are glad you are here and enjoying traditional archery.

Super Grizzlys are very very hard to beat in my opinion.  That bow could treat you well for decades.  Great hunting length, plenty of power at 50# and baseball sized groups at 15 yards = kill shots.

Pretty happy with my accuracy so far. Not near as good as I was when I was a kid but getting there.    Maryland bow season now starts the first week of September.  I have free range Sika deer and Whitetails on the farm I lease.  Have yet to stick a Sika with a bow.  Maybe the new recurve will bring me luck.
