Just so you all don't forget. Hunter's Point is still open for Fall bear hunts, especially for trad bowhunters. However, it is now owned by Phil Allen so those of you who have been trying to contact Eldon without success....try calling Phil instead. The contact info is on the website but the contact phone for booking hunts is 207-894-2248. The hunt will still be operating from Eldon's taxidermy shop and Phil has full access to the cooler and freezer. Last time I talked to Phil he was hoping Eldon would sign on as a guide. That is still up in the air as I understand it.
