For me, it would be a Zipper SXT with evo Limbs carbon and boo cores. It is hard to beat a Zipper!

I have shot both and both are good bows.  the zipper was quite a bit faster and quieter than my TT's.  The grips are completely different so i HIGHLY recommend you shoot them both.  facts and stats are great BUT if the grip is not right for you nothing else will matter - IMHO.

I bought a new Zipper Extreme in 2008 and kept it for 2 years, but never could get used to the grip or the way it shot.  It was just 'twitchy' for me.  I have a Tall Tines now and the grip is near perfect and the bow shoots well.  The Zipper I had was the nicest looking and best finished bow I've owned.  The Tall Tines is a close second.  As said above, the biggest difference is the grip.  They are very dissimilar and you should try to handle both if possible before you make a decision.

There's a reason GM doesn't make just one car...I have never shot, held or owned a zipper bow, but have owned and shot everything else on the market.

There are a lot of great bows on the market and when it comes down to a comparison to two great bows and which one is better? Well, I believe it all comes down to splitting hairs and personal preferences. There is always those subtle differences that is either positive or negative to each individual archer.
If it means anything I think the TT's is the best all around bow I have ever shot, and my Father n law who is a huge Bear fan, who's been shooting the same bear takedown for 40 yrs with everything from moose, elk, caribou, deer and bear with this same bow who is so tight he squeaks, shot my tall tines and is truly impressed with this bow and shoots it better than his bear take down.

I would also look at the customer service side which is everything to me...Guarantee you there is one or two great bows out there but because of the personality deficiency of the Bowyer I would never own one of their bows.

Don't know the people of the Zipper bows, sounds like they are great people...never knew Brian Wessel before I purchased a Tall Tine, but I do call him my Friend today.
Good Luck on your search my Friend.

"Quite a bit faster and quieter than a Tall
Tines"

That would have to be a pretty fast and very quiet recurve.

I've not shot both and doubt I will.

Sounds like  you've narrowed it down to 2 good ones.

Shot a TT at the Ky Tradfest, a year or two ago. I really liked it. I've owned several Zippers, and loved them all. For me it's the Zipper, but the chose is yours, what ever works for you. Try them both, if you can. God bless.
