Just wanted to give a shoutout to mojostick! he works for cabelas in grand rapids michigan!I bought my recurve in Texas at cabelas but they didn't know a lot about traditional bows and I left with more questions than answers! I'm a truck driver and I'm all over, so I stopped at his store! Bob didn't hesitate to start tuning the bow to me, got me set up with the correct arrows, he suggested a tab instead of the glove I had and it it made a world of difference! If anyone is ever in his neck of the woods, I highly recommend you stop in! Thanks again bob(mojostick)

I'm glad I could help. The hardest part for many people who want to get into traditional archery is for them to get set up correctly, if they don't yet know how to do so themselves.

Typically, newer guys with no help have the wrong arrows, they fishtail all over, the brace height is all wrong, they have their elbow cranked way up in the air and the end result is they don't have a good experience with traditional archery.

But when a guy gets set up to where at least his arrows are flying like darts and his form is quickly improved, it makes it to where a newer shooter can sense that he will improve and that traditional archery can be a part of his future.

It's also rewarding to be able to help a customer like yourself, who I know wants to learn about traditional archery and then you'll help others get into it.

Thanks!

I've bought, sold, and traded bows with Bob here on TG...and I can sure believe he's quite an asset for the company.  Way to go!

Our Cabela's here could sure use another Mojostick.

Thanks Lon. The '64 Kodiak I got from you is never leaving my bow rack for that of another!   ;)
I think I'll shoot it tonight.

Bob is the best. He gave up a beautiful 58 Kodiak so my boy would have a bow in his draw weight to shoot.I have done many trades with Bob and always was top notch. Getting ready to trade some more bows with him next week.

Nice to see someone at Cabelas with a good knowledge of trad archery. I have followed Bob on here for many years...

I'll admit, I gave up a gem of a '58 Kodiak to copicasso, but that's only because Todd is the first class of the first class and he wanted a really nice bow for his boy. Good karma begets good karma.
It was my pleasure to give a thank you gesture to Todd because he has been beyond helpful to me on my education of old Bear bows.
