"Lost Antlers" for lunch
« on: June 26, 2013, 03:09:00 PM »
Just finished watching the film Lost Antlers for the hundreth time. Any other fans of this film? IMHO it is a classic! To get to shoot a moose that close reminds me of Walt Francis' moose with Thumper.
I also wondered today about where this guy, Lance Goodwin is, an what he is up to. Anyone know?

Lance and his brother use to operate Northwest Big Game Outfitters in BC. Don't know if they're still at it or not.

Tom, I just checked the web site for NW Big Game Outfitters and a Jack Goodwin is listed as the contact. Must be the brother you spoke of. Pretty neat. I had no idea. Thanks.

Michael, I would tend to agree but you never know. Maybe some new trad guys here that have never heard of this film. So if that's you and you have never watch this one- well you just need to. It is awesome and speaks to the whole meaning of hunting and traditional archery. The guy goes and scouts an area in summer, leaves a cache of equipment and comes back in the fall and makes the hunt.... awesome!

Varmit & Cyclic- Rivers, I don't want to say too much and take away from your watching it but have you ever watch a film where the hunter never says a word? You just have to watch it!

Go to this link at Amazon and see if you can purchase it. I looked on 3 Rivers archery but it is not there. If you cannot find it let me know and I will ship it to you and we can pass it around.

I LOVE moose hunting during the rut and this film is IMHO the BEST on a traditional bowhunt for them. Watch it
