I work at Cabela's in the archery dept and we sell a ton of Samick Sage bows. As mentioned, for the money they are actually really nice shooters. Much better shooters than I would have expected, in that price range.
That said, the factory string leaves much to be desired. Everytime I sell a Sage, I strongly suggest keeping the factory string for a backup and getting a dacron/B-50 string instead.
But once I put on a better string with beaver balls, the Sage is actually quite quiet. For $150, it's a solid entry level recurve.
