Awesome! My daughter loves hers. Growing into it nicely. Loves to pop balloons! I give David and Tracey the highest recommendation possible. Having this bow built for my 3-year-old was a wonderful experience.

Man, those are pretty.
Our Granddaughter isn't a year old yet, but I'm thinking she and Poppy will have some fun shooting  before too long. Nice to see something better to choose from than the red, dual shelf fiberglass of my youth.

We have purchased two so far and our kids love them! It's nice that we could trade in the first one when our oldest son got stronger.
But Lord, he has been there four days, surely he stinketh by now.

My daughter LOVES her St. Joe River bow!  David and Tracey are the best, and built amazing bows.  Gwen's youth bow is beautiful, fits her well, and actually smokes an arrow.

We just ordered a 56" SJR longbow for my wife, also.  David and Tracey were nice enough to send Heidi and I a couple bows to test drive...we ordered hers immediately and I'll be ordering one for myself in a couple months.

It just does not get better than St. Joe River.

Here was Gwen last spring (2012) with her St. Joe River longbow.

Here she is late last summer (2012) at the GLLI.

This is early this spring.

And here last weekend.

It amazes me, looking at these photos from spring 2012 to summer 2013, how much she's grown!  Also, month by month she's becoming more and more confident in herself and the bow.  Slowly her form is improving, she's growing into the weight, and she's having a ton of fun!!!  I love her look and body language in the last photo...focused and determined.  Love it.

What is the recommended bow lenghth for a 3 year old?  My son's (7yo) 48" seems too long for my 3 year old daughter.

We do a 46" that is working well for the 5 and under. Our grandson who is a month over 3 has one and we have done  a few overs for 3 year olds as well.  Limblovers daughter in the picture that he posted was 3 in that picture. Kids that age are growing so fast if you get a much shorter bow they out grow them so fast.

We don't normally keep ant  46" in stock, but can have one done in a few weeks if you want to give us a call

This is a picture of our grandson last fall with his when he was 2.5   [/URL
