If you are really going to be picky, I'd recommend buying your shafts pre spined and weighed to match.  Rocky Mountain Specialty Gear ( asponsor here)  Will do it for you.  Last dozen I bought from them were all true 55 to 45 spine and weighed to within five grains!

The reason most don't offer matched spine is the expense. It takes a lot of shafts to make a matched dozen. It is also mind numbingly tedious to hand spine bunches of shafts... but its worth it.

Simple answer SPINE IMO must be correct before weight is ever a option. That said woodie spine and weight can both be adjusted slightly with a piece of sand paper/arrow grain scale and my homemade spine tester.
