BPE Pro Series Fletcher Set-up Question
« on: September 02, 2007, 01:53:00 AM »
I have a BPE Fletcher, without any instructions.  I've bought some new jigs for it and want to start using it and I'm not sure about one item.  I understand how to set the 0/12/240 3-Fletch or the 60/120 4-Fletch.  What I'm not sure about is the dial for the nock holder.  It's currently set on 90.  Is this correct or should it be on 0?

I have one too that I didn't get the instructions for.  I've been using mine with the nock oriented to 300.  I use the 120 degree setting for my cock feather (on 3 fletch) and go from there on around to 240 and then 0.  I keep it the same for the 60/120, starting with 60 and then 120, flipping the arrow, then going back from 120 to 60.  Might not be right, but I've found it to be pretty dang close for not having to change it back and forth during fletches of 3 feathers or 4 feathers.

I set my nock indicator to 0 and then for 3-fletch use 0, 120 & 240. For 90-degree four fletch, it's 45, 135, 225 & 315.

Thanks.  I was thinking it went to 0, but wasn't sure.
