Sounds cool! I don't know much about the man's bows but there are lots of guys here that do. I would also try the history/collectors forum!

For what it's worth...
I saw a Bear (Sears) Flinger, I think it was called, at Cloverdale this year. Not sure if it's the same thing but it had the green / blonde wood colors. I had never seen one before. I thought it looked to be in pretty good shape and I don't think he was asking too much for it.
