How many have hunted Lions here?

I'm just curious and would like to some pics if you have them. You have to have some big cahoness to get within 20 yards of a Lion and stick them with an arrow, either that or a lack of brain cells. I don't care if you have gun back up or not.

I'm not sure I'd want to try it myself. To tell the truth I think they are just to majestic and beautiful an animal to shoot for a trophy, but nothing against you guys that do hunt them. My brother went after a Polar Bear years ago with a #100 compound, he never got one but I kept telling him he was nuts. What these animals can cover a 100 yards in about 5 seconds?

I know a guy that hunted Africa back in the hey days of the 40's & 50's(with a gun)man he had a lot of cool pictures and stories to share. I couldn't believe how many pictures of natives he had that were eaten by Lions. I can't imagine hunting where you have to worry about being the hunted or turning into tonights supper.

I think hunting in Africa or hunting Grizzles or  Polar bears is the only real true hunting there is. It has to be a total rush to get within 20 yards of an animal that can kill you in seconds if he decides to do so.
Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.
