So I stop in the local archery shop that usually carries a descent amount of trad supplies today. A very nice young man asks "Can I help you sir?" I replied..."Yes I am looking for a 2216 shaft to make footings with." He stops and has a puzzled look on his face and says "we don't carry aluminums anymore; the whole world has gone carbon." So I said " ok " and walked out.

or sometimes you can get lucky and get the size you need at wally world sometimes. thats what i did atleast..lol. or ask around at different shops for wasted shafts too so long as they are for footings :p ...not trying to dis the sponsors or anythng but i know sometimes money is hard to come by especially in this economy so just trying to help out with cheap alternatives

LOL, the shop owner where I live gets it, but when I'm chatting with him and some of the wheelie customers hear me talking trad (trash? LOL) I've gotten some looks like 'you're crazy Tanto."
