Yes. Youll need a rest of some sort to keep it quiet. Lots of ways to set that up.

For me, i prefer my elevated rest. Much better arrow flight.

You can either shoot off a Feather rest or I use Bear Hair. You may need a thin side plate then cut the hair 1", peel back the cover and stick it to the middle of the shelf.

You don't need alot of material for the arrow to rest on. A Feather rest will elevate the arrow slightly but works well. Idea is less arrow contact with the shelf.

if your arrow is tuned correctly you won't have to worry about noise when shooting off the shelf other than the thunk of the string................

I had a Hatfield that shot very well off the shelf.  I used velcro or calf hair.  Good luck with it!

everyone I knew that had a Hatfield when I was in my mid-teens (and I was jealous over them owning one lol) shot off the shelf.  I still look for one of the older ones, blonde and gray w/limb knobs...My K-mag was my go-to back then but man, are them old Hatfields sexy!  Anyway back to the subject...a couple used velcro, but most used either seal or bear hair.
