How to camouflage eyeglasses

As I get older I find myself wearing contacts less & less, I guess I'm finally at the age where looking cool is not as important. I don't even own contacts now & have no desire to renew my contact prescription.

With that said I have also become a ground hunter as I'm getting to old to fall out of trees & I'm concerned with the glare / flash glasses could cause when hunting.

Looking for ideas on how to camo my glasses.

Hey Dan.  Have you thought about looking into sport style goggles/frames. I've thought about the same issue and thought if I ever decide to go with glasses instead of contacts it might be a good way to go. Low profile, tough and stay on the head. Generally seem to be more compact with smaller lenses that probably put off less reflection.  Just a thought.

 Of course you might end up looking like Kareem in his later days!!!

you can buy some of that see through one side camo film, see through on the inside and camo on the deer's side.  stuff works great on cameras etc.  you might want a second pair of glasses to do this on, but should work.

this is the same stuff you see on back truck windows, store fronts etc.

not sure if any sponsors sell here, but camo skins and camo clad each have a product.

I have always worn glasses, never contacts. I have found that a wider frame works best with the shooting stance required for traditional bows. I order my glasses with non-reflective coating, light colored or rimless frames and use either face paint or a gaiter. You need a breathing hole in the gaiter so your lenses don't fog up at some inconvenient time.

Also, any headgear that keeps the sun out of your eyes will also reduce any reflection from your glasses.

Camo headnet. You used.to see them from time to time, but I wouldn't know where to tell you to look these days.

Been wearing glasses for 20 years, Primos full fit mask is what I use. Lift the nose guard up to the tip of your nose and your glasses won't fog up. These are great for warm weather!

I used to have one years ago, wish I still had it, couldn't see my sights with it on. Now that I grew up & don't need training wheels or sights I wish I had it !

I will have to check the primos brand out, I'm liking that better than tinted glass as I cannot get it into my thick head that just because the glass tint is dull it don't have a shiny surface reflection.

I use tinted lenses, black frames, and avoid looking directly at the animals until it is time to ready for the shot.

I don't like head nets
I wear a short brim cap, pull it down low, keep my head slightly tilted down, and look at the animals from under the brim.

Never been busted because of my glasses.

I do like BowDiddle and don't have any issues with being busted, even on the ground.  I do like a 3/4 face mask,tho.  SpandoFlage has a great one if you can find it.

I'm getting older too but went in the opposite direction. I had trouble shooting with glasses on (the frame between the eyes got in the way)... went to contacts and EUREKA... I shoot better and don't have to worry about keeping them dry or clean.

I use the extended wear and can wear the same ones for 2 months... plenty long enough for my three week, pack in, DIY elk hunt.
