Finally stuck another carp
« on: July 31, 2013, 11:52:00 AM »
Hey guys thought I would share this just for the heck of it. I have been bowfishing uneventfully for the last month or more. The waters have been high and muddy and my shooting poor as usual. This combination equaled no dead carp. Last night I stopped in at a small outlet and low and behold the carp were everywhere ! I don't know what made them so active but they were at the surface of the water rolling around and making all kinds of commotion. I missed a really nice one as usual but I found this one and snuck within 8 feet of it and managed to stick it. So with a lot more practice I will hopefully manage to start hitting more of them. Hit or miss nothing beats an evening after work like a little bowfishing ! Enjoy SS

You are so right!

I went this evening as well. Shot at one carp from a bridge and missed him and didn't see another. Hopefully next time I'll see them everywhere like you did!
