I finally ordered one of the "great" Dura gloves I've heard so much about a month or so back...not really impressed. I do like the release that I get with it, but...When I got the glove I could barely get my fingers in it, it was size large, and I've always worn a large in every other glove I've worn. There was also an excess of extra material in the finger tips. So, after turning it inside out and trimming out all that excess material, then turning right side out again (not easy to do BTW), then mink oiling, then just "wearing around" for a day or two, I finally got it loose enough that I thought I could shoot it without losing a finger related to lack of circulation. I do have to say, after all of that, I'm shooting well with it, but I don't like the fact that I had to "finish" a product that I paid that much for. Not to mention that the whole glove just seems kinda "twisted" when you put it on. I know 3Rivers will "stand behind" it, but at my expense, and it's not worth it to me to go through the hassle of shipping back and forth (Seems to me that 3Rivers is getting a little to big for their britches lately...but that's a rant for another day). I've already tried one other manufacturer / supplier and will be trying a couple more before I even think about ordering another Dura Glove / 3Rivers product.
