Here is an example of the "S" shaped cut as these single bevel heads cork screw through the critter.

Any chance of seeing this heavier gauge steel used in the Kodiak model?

They use 11/32" adapters. 5/16" adapters will also work. They just go into the head a bit deeper.

Bill, I managed to pick off a little shoat with one of the new 185's yesterday evening. It got the job done in fine fashion!

:biglaugh:   Pat, You are one pig killing son of a gun!!! How about the next time I have a new broadhead to test. I just send you some and you can tell me what you think! OH, and I have the rest of your 185 order ready to send to you. Hey they are even all right bevel this time.    :D
Bill

Thanks for all of the comments guys. These things are proving to be a wise addition. I would like to go even thicker on the steel but I'm about at the limit of what can be ground at that angle. Any thicker and I will be into the farrel before the bevel is complete.

Thanks, Bill!  I'll have to glue some on a few Sitka spruce shafts.      :archer2:

That thick blade ought to twist a lot more going through. Good Job!! Gary
