Question for you leather workers
« on: September 04, 2007, 08:57:00 AM »
When glueing some pieces prior to stitching I accidently left a small indentation from one of the spring clamps.  Is there a trick to removing these or am i just going to have to live with it?

Hello MI,
Try wetting the area of the indentation, using a smooth rounded piece of antler or somthing similar lightly "polish" over the indented spot, re moisten and let it dry. This should remove most of the indent. Dont push hard, just lightly smooth the moist area. Hope this helps.
Harry.
