Check out this new water proofer by Rust-Oleum called Never Wet on YouTube.
Has anyone tried it?

I have and it will definitely waterproof stuff, but it turns everything a primer gray tint. I did 3 items: Canvas boots, E German surplus tarp/poncho, and a digi-camo boonie hat. All are very waterproof, but the digi-camo is all but unnoticeable now. Canvas boots were already gray, so it didn't matter.

Looks like a good product.
Any issues with wearing it off after using the boots.?

It's only been on them for about a month now, but so far, so good. Wore them at ETAR during the Saturday night downpour and they were A-OK. It has kind of an odd feel to the touch. Kinda like the powder I used to use to waterproof feathers.
