a 50 lb. montana was my first longbow, followed by a 45 lb... then i discovered custom bows! sold the 45 lb. but i kept the 50 lb and will probably never get rid of it... it's a great bow, particularly for the money - can't beat it for the price, if you ask me... pretty quiet, very little hand shock and it'll take a beating in the back country... (it's the bow i carry if i'm concerned that rough terrain and climbing might subject the bow to rough treatment...)
if you can't afford a custom, this is the bow to get, if you ask me...
