awesome to see the young ones enjoying what I enjoy as a 42 year old child.  My daughter has no interest at 13, too busy with the cheerleading. My 15 year old son choose the wheelie bow over trad, but at least he is loving hunting and has killed a few deer with modern weapons. His is determined to get a deer with his bow this season. I will hunt for him at the beginning of the season in hopes of getting him a shot first. I will be by his side as I was with my oldest son with his first bow kill. Hopefully, after a few years with the wheels he will see the fun and enjoyment of traditional archery.

Glad to see Terry got him started early. Is it just me or is that boy taller than his Granpa!   :bigsmyl:

Thats the way to go! I'm a triplet and my dad got my brothers and I each a bow to start on at 4. Now only two of the three are still shooting but my brother that still shoots is one of the best shooters I know. He even picked up a lefthanded bow (natural righty) and shot it almost as well!

Thanks Mudd, I actually took it down right after posting it because I didn't want to hijack your thread.  I didnt read closely enough- it wasn't a 'post em if ya got em thread' but something you were specifically sharing.  That horn bow is so cool!

Here's my pic again anyway  :)

I want to say now to "all"...Please feel free to share on any of the threads I start.

I never consider someone sharing as "Highjacking".

I don't need the light shining on me as most of what I do shouldn't be about me anyway.

I think I "make stuff all about me" way too often (IMHO) and for that I apologize.
