Journeyman up there in MI makes a great bow. Jared's bow are fast, quiet, and smooth, and the price is right

It is hard to recommend a recurve if there is little chance that you can shoot one before buying. Perhaps your safest best (since you are not in a hurry) would be to save for a Widow. Then you will know what you are getting. It will be a bow to keep for a lifetime.
