finally strung my sons bow, some video of the boys..

i originally posted this video as a response to a thread on another forum i frequent, it revolves around squirrel and coon dogs... so you'll have to excuse the comment about the bow being a special model...i was just funnin with the guy i mentioned... he rolls his eyes at most of the archery threads we start...so i had to take a jab at him.

i made a string from that red plastic bailing twine...i was musing whether or not it would work, how it stretched... we're still testing i guess   :D  if i had some proper string we wouldnt be experimenting...    :p

it did my heart good for sure, when the next morning the first thing both of'em did was get dressed to go out and shoot.    :D  

those tips barely stick in that target, i put .38 short cartridges on the tips of his arrows. the little guy's arrow has nothing.

by the way you can skip ahead to 5:25 to see the kids. the rest of it is just me getting long winded bout the string i was making for someone who asked how it was done.

hey guys thanks for the kind words. we're still just learnin to be human, and that might mean living like one from time to time =P

here is another video i took today. he has really taken to his new bow. didnt know a fella could be this proud... im swelled up like a toad.
