Toelke classic whip?
« on: August 18, 2013, 11:36:00 PM »
Can anyone with a classic whip tell me if the grip on your bow has any palm swell?  I adore the classic grip on my chinook and I'm trying to figure out if the classic whip has the same grip with a pronounced palm swell.  I'm sure Dan could build be a whip with a chinook grip, but I don't have the money for that right now.
I love how my whip shoots but every time I shoot it I wish it had the same grip as my chinook.  Any other great r/d longbows out there with a little palm swell?

Brad, you're hopeless!  Can't imagine a better grip than your whip!

I bought Petaluma's Whip and its lovely.  Toelke knows grips.  My favorite longbow grip other than my Stewart.  Leon builds a great longbow grip as well with nice palm swell.

NBK, I know right?  I used to think the grip on my whip was great until I started shooting Chinooks.  Now I want them all to feel like my classic chinook.  Looks like I'm going to have to sell that Whip for the fourth time and come up with the money to order exactly what I want.
