Anyone heard from Oliverstacy?
« on: August 19, 2013, 09:20:00 PM »
Hey All.  I put an order in with Oliverstacy on Saturday and haven't heard from him.  Sent him a PayPal payment and a PM via TradGang which has been unread.

Hope all is well.  Maybe he's on vacation.  Not too worried about my order, just want to make sure he's ok.

I just got an email from him about an order. All seemed ok. He did say that email was a better way to reach him as opposed to PM.

Great strings and always very accommodating.

I just got my order from him about a week ago. I changed the order after I sent him payment as I swapped bows right about then. Josh answered my e-mails promptly and, once I got the final specs to him the order came right away. I'd try e-mails too, as he may be reading them from his cell phone.

Love his strings. Oliver Stacy and SBD strings are at the top of the heap in my opinion.

I think the Private Message (PM) system kind of "hangs up".  People have told me they sent a PM, but it doesn't show up for a day or two.

But the e-mail, through tradgang, always goes through fast.

Anybody else ever have that problem?

As stated above, emails work best for Josh. He works a full time job, and what little time he has free, he is dedicated to his family. A great guy and my only string maker. He will get with you as soon as possible. I know lately he has been getting a lot of string orders as others are sending folks his way.

Lets just hope that it doesn't get to be a burden for him!

Josh is top notch, he spent a lot of extra time with me getting to the loops the right size on my Dale Dye. His strings are as good as they get.

Great guy to deal with. He responded to an email of mine a few days ago. He is very busy these days, but give him a chance and he will respond to you.

Josh got back with me today.  I was just worried something had happened.  I always get strings from Josh and needed some new ones for a Two Tracks Longwalker I picked up from Chuck at the GLLI.

Good to hear. He has always been extremely responsive to my emails. Top notch customer service and quality product.  I heard from him yesterday via email regarding an order.
