Wish us luck !

Two weeks ago our archery club had the last shoot of the season and had a big raffle. Dina won the big prize; a Gator hunt with a pro gator hunter. This Friday night she is going hunting with him in the St. John's river between Green Cove Springs and Palatka.  
He told her to practice out to about 10 yards so she has been shooting a 55 pound Zipper recurve with a reel and a 1500 grain solid glass fish arrow. She can hit a coffee cup 10 out of 10 times out to the distance so I think see is ready. We are nit sure what arrow the gator guy uses; he slides an alum. shaft over a carbon shaft and fills it full of sand so it should be close to what she has been shooting.
I am going along to take pics and to make sure the gators behave them selves and If she shoots one I will post some pics. Tom

Thanks for all the well wishes!  When I went to get my helper permit...the fella said...I am required to ask you this, "Have you ever been convicted of a croc-a-dillian crime and if so...were you intoxicated or on drugs at the time?"  Let me tell a total hush fell over the whole tag agency...till I burst out laughing!!!!  Not sure what a croc-a-dillian crime is...sounds sort of kinky.

Well I am looking forward to the hunt!!!  :bigsmyl:

Well a croc-a-dillian crime is about to happen.  I've seen Dina shoot and I'd say the gator is in for a bad night.  LOL
