I'm thinking if you're in Aiken this weekend you ought to come out to Aiken archery and hang out with us and show that thing off!

I love the painted arra idea, never thought of that one.  Does the paint rub off after several shots.  I ask this because I'm kicking around the idea of wood arras and been looking at different finishes?

solobowhunter,
Back in Boston & on to Maine cottage for next week.  I'll be back in Aiken around the end of Nov through June. But first I need to do a little Atlantic Salmon fishing in New Brunswick in Oct & chase some Kansas whitetails in Nov.  I've been meaning to come to one of your shoots.

KyRidgeRunner,
I never have to re-paint them...maybe a little comes off right at the end.  I'm not real particular when I spray paint them.  I just hold them by hand and cover the shaft.  They are all finished when I spray paint up to the fletching.  I have found that Krylon for plastic furniture works well. If it takes more than a minute, then I'm spending too much time on 'em...tippit

I have had several Kestrals and recently received a new 56" Chinook with custom grip. Dan nailed it. Best dow I ever owned and I don't own a longbow this quiet. Both are great bows.
