OH NO!! Crack in lower limb
« on: August 31, 2013, 07:54:00 AM »
Don't worry my bow is fine, but my archery season took a turn for the worse.

I broke my leg Tuesday night and had surgery yesterday to put in plates and screws.  Our season opener is 10/5 and doc said no weight for 4-6 weeks.  After that it's a walking boot for 4-6 weeks.  Hoping I can hobble in and out of the woods in the boot.

Anyone been in this position before?  How did it turn out?

glue some carpet remnants to the bottom of the walking cast to be sneakier.

Hoping for a speedy recovery.

Ouch!  Hoping for a speedy recovery for you.  Make sure you are healed before getting out in the woods.

Wish you a quick recovery. Hobbling out to the woods in a walking boot is possible. I did it two seasons ago with a broken foot.

Good luck on a speedy recovery.  Take it easy and let it heal, don't be a typical guy and press it
