Anybody from this area?Just got back from a weeks vacation from there.Seen a couple deer around the area.Does,nt look like a hunting area though,all flat and real thick with scrub brush.Would be fun to stump shoot though lots of sand..............
HH Cheetah 66in. 48lb at 25in.

That part of the Outer Banks may be game lands.  If so better go to  www.ncwildlife.com  and make sure you can be out there with a weapon.  

PS
If you find out it's huntable land and you see some of the native phesant give me a call.  My poor dog has never seen a wild phesant.  They were brought over by rich European hunt clubs way back in the day and still exist.  The deer will be small, very small but tasty.

"I'm a Tarheel born and a Tarheel bred and when I die I'm a Tarheel......naaaaah!  WFU grad who would pull for the Taliban if they played UNC!  Sorry, hatred aside, I've lived here all my life and honestly have no idea where Duck, NC is.  But I'd bet its coastal, probably Washington or Hyde counties.  Back in my wheelie days I hunted Pungo National Wildlife refuge (now Poccasin Lakes, I think) Nothing but deer, mosquitos, and eastern diamondbacks that look to be on steroids.  I'll take the Blue Ridge mountains any day!
