Arrow Spine

Will a .500 spine aluminum and a.500 carbon fly the same out of the sane bow.I understand weight may be different ,3 rivers arrow chart shows a .500 spine aluminum and a .400 carbon for the same poundage and length .

I find you can't really compare carbon and aluminum arrows in spine ratings.Carbon arrows react differently and recover much quicker from the paradox.I don't believe there is an aluminum dead on a .500 spine,Easton Gamegetter 500 is basically a 2016 and has a .531 spine.A 2212 aluminum has a .505 spine,closer to a .500 but then you have a larger diameter arrow which will affect the way it flys and tunes different then a .500 spine carbon.I tune each one differently and to the bow.

Don't think so.  I believe the aluminum is larger in diameter and actually a. 530.
