Getting geared up...

for whitetail season!! Let's see you getting geared up. I know some of you are getting ready to go on Elk trips, if you haven't all ready. No matter what you are going for, let's see your gear piles.

Here is my pack.  Just mounted a bow quiver on the pack and made up a few arrows.  Knives are sharp, printed a couple topos of a new area in the mountains.  Have a new, spare string and made up a little first aid kit that fits in a Sucrets tin.  Just need to touch up my broadheads and wait 20 more days! I'm ready.

It is a great area.  About 25 miles in any direction from a black top road.  Looking forward to getting up there.

Where did you print those maps from? They look like pretty good quality.
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

It is called acmemapper.com.  It is a good site.  You can zoom in and out, look at aerial shots, etc.:

My Bob Lee recurve that I won on St. Judes Auction, GT Traditionals, Fanny Pack and my Hunting Seat. Deer and hogs are on the agenda. Wishing everyone a successful season and praying for one myself.
