5 gallon bucket.  Doesn't sink in much, I can swivel around on it easily, weighs almost nothing, costs almost nothing, and I can haul stuff in it going to/from the blind.  Or I can leave them at a blind long term and not worry about being stolen or ruined from too much exposure.

My son gave me a triangular shape chair  [3 legged] from Bas Proshop. Really comfortable, he payed less than 20 bucks for it. Has a back rest too.

Try a 7 gallon bucket, and you will never sit on a 5 gallon bucket again.

I have the bucket seat with pad and a double bull xl. The xl is okay but still bothers me some setting a long time. I also find it a bit shorter than I would like. For shooting turkeys close range.  I have been thinking about the hunt more, but I like the look of the roll a chair.

I often hunt marshy areas and use several cheap seats (I have not found "the seat" yet).  I started carrying a 2 1/2' square piece of decent weight indoor outdoor carpeting, like you might find in a decent boat, to set down first, then the seat doesn't tend to bury in the soft ground and my feet don't make noises in the grass, leaves and such.

Works for me

I find the big Double Bull three leg stool to very comfortable, even for several hour sits.  I have a smaller lighter version that isn't near as nice.  The DB seems to be holding up very well, too.  I not ready for a $200 seat yet.

If you want to stay seated for hours without twitching, standing to stretch legs,or add pillows to make a chair comfortable then I would suggest save and buy a "HUNTMORE 360" and throw all the others away or give to someone you just cann't stand hunting with...
Bucket  $4.00
Triangle seat  $15.00
lawn chair $10.00
360 NOISY Bucket top about $15.00
wood stool $18.00
wood stool with cushion  about $25.00
office chair with 360 option and height adjustment about $125.00 to $400.00 for a good one
recliner $300.00 and  too heavy to carry and looks funny and "redneckish" for sure sitting in woods

Huntmore 360 $200.00 but has all options one can imagine and built to last for years and has a man that backs up his product....

Is it common for the HUNTMORE 360 to be noisy?  During my summer vacation travels, I ran across a couple of the seats to try out in two different states.  One was out for display, the other, the dealer set the chair up for me.  Both were loud and creeky, not a little noisy, but very noticeable from most any movement.  If I understood the dealer correctly, you had to keep the bushings lubed up with white grease or they'd be noisy.  He tried to make some adjustments on the chair, but he couldn't stop the noise.

Granted that was a sample of two, but those two samples gave me reservations.  Any of you guys have experience on how to eliminate the noise?  Is it a constant battle with grease, or can it be adjusted out so it stays quiet??

Thanks  :)

Scott explained to me that the nylon washers can squeek if the bolts are too tight and he has sent me some Stainless steel washers to use instead...If the white grease doesn't work you can use a very heavy waterproof "O" ring lube that is odorless and can get it at Lowes in the plumbing isle...It's in a small container and has a flip top  ...Made by Danco I believe...First try the yearly maintenance that Scott has on the instruction sheet..Very simple thing to do and  I do mine before  hunting season starts...Mine is Whisper quiet as long as I don't overtighten those  bolts like Scott has explained...Worth the $199.00 my wife spent on mine as a birthday present about 4 years ago or so...I can sit the entire day from sunup to sunset if I pack a lunch  :)

I must be lucky, second year with my Huntmore and no squeaks so far.  I'll keep the grease in mind though, almost anything seems better with a dab of lithium...lol.
