It doesn't bother me at all. I do get curious sometimes and wonder what kind of fellow the previous owner was and why the bow was sold.

If you are buying used bows it comes with the territory-has it's own charm and I got nothing against other trads.

I bought a Fedora longbow custom built for Carl D. Smith. I don't know the man from Adam, but I bought it because it shot so dang good for me. A month or so later I found another Fedora longbow on the big auction site. You guessed it, custom built for Carl D. Smith. I had to have it, they were kind of like sibling bows in my mind, that had to be brought back together. Glad I bought it, it's a shooter too.

I never gave it much thought. For that matter, how many buy a bow, or choose not to, depending upon whether the model name appeals to them?
