1916 shaft problems-where to get them?

Hi,
got home today to see my new 1916 shafts arrived... bent!
they shipped them single boxed.  i have emailed to return them.  but in the meantime the clock is ticking to oct 1 open date and i need some straight ones and quick. i've looked at connecting links, searched the web, etc. 3rivers is backordered indefinately, all the other sites i look at say backordered.  , except i think americanbowhunter.cm
Is this site reputable? i 'm worried if i get another bent box, i'll miss opening day. any direction would be appreciated.  any other sites? vendors?thanks,david

Check out some of the sponsors here.  Black Widow and the Nocking Point usually have a good supply of what you're looking for.  Or Lost Nation or Kustom King.  And there are plenty of other good sponsors to check out.

I read your other post about the spine. My suggestion would be to try carbon,unless you really want to use aluminum. I like CE Heritage shafts. I think you could get by with some in the 90 series. I'm not real sure what spine that equates to,but you could look at the charts,or someone else may come on and have more to say about it.

i just found a set on **** from bowhnterssupplystore.??? in georgia. which is not that far from me. just worried they'll ship poorly like the last set of ****.  i've clicked on all the links(i think)above the forum stuff.  but still looking...

Kustom King shows to have the Legacy  shafts or you can get them already fletched it shows.

i had seen those legacy's.  i actually would rather them than the hunters, but i've been to the piggy bank several times the last couple of weeks, and am trying to stay in budget.  thats another reason choosing the aluminum.  i really want the wood, but the $ and afraid with just getting started i'll mess them up, or i'll have to learn how to adjust to shooting them differently than the alum's since thats all i've been practicing with.  i was hoping to move to the wood once i get more practice and better form.

i have been practicing with the 2016's, if something happens with the 1916's getting cancelled or something i can email you then, it may serve me well to try something if i have to wait longer to track more down.  appreciate the offer.  i am shooting decent groups with the 2016's its just they're too stiff even at full length.  from what i've heard the 1916's should do the trick.
