Nice shot.  Now I guess we will never know if there will be 6 more weeks of bad weather on Feb. 2.  RIP Phil...   :D

Delicious critters!  Bone out, put in crockpot with carrots, potatoes, onions and a can of coke.  Serve with some homemade biscuits, YUM!

I had one that tried to take up residence under my deck where it meets conrete sidewalk on the side of my house. Here is my answer to that. I also had to work on the ones trying to eat my entire garden.

I used to hunt them all summer when I was younger. Used to be great practice for honing your stalking skills.

What do you do with it after killing it? Are you going to eat it?

Just read back and saw u write that u left it there. Don't want to be "that" guy, but if it isnt causing damage, you arent going to eat it, or utilize it at all.. why kill it?

I mean my opinion in most respectful way possible but it seems like a waste of a critters life to me. Just my 2 cents

I let them lay for the foxes. They are always gone within two days. Everything in nature has to eat.

Groundhogs are pests. I don't eat the mice I catch or the flys I swat either.

I've killed 243 with stickbows over the past 25 years, it's never entered my mind even once to eat one.

The farmer wants them gone, they under mine the barns and other buildings plus he has horses and cows.  I take out foxes when I get a chance also because I want more rabbits and turkey and I don't eat them either.  I do try to wait till they have a good coat and give them to a fur trapper.

Small game is what keeps those long days without seeing big fun. I never go afield without some type of small game head.
