Very nice setup.
I like a short bow and the Kestral is probably going to be the next one.
Too much good PR here on the Tolkes.

Gator:

I only draw about 27" and for me, this one is about as perfect as it can get. Being a short bow (52") you need to concentrate on your release a bit more but nothing to be concerned with.  It seems to be as quiet as the Whip with no hand shock at all.  I'm still trying to get the right brace height on it but I feel it should be whisper quiet at about 7 5/8".

Thanks for all the compliments.  Dan and Jared are really great folks to deal with.

Doug,

Have you got her dialed in yet? What combo works for you?

After a few frustrating days, I think I have finally dialed in the Kestral.  To tell the truth, I was getting a bit concerned about this little beauty.  After speaking with Dan, he indicated my Selway quiver was placing too much torque on the riser, causing errant shots.  However, Dan told me if I prefer to use a bow quiver (which I always do), to select one that has about a 2" set-back for the arrows.  I tried a Kanati Pro quiver and it did the trick.

The Kestral has a low tolerance for an "off" release but all things being equal, it is shooting much better for me now.  I tried to shoot without a quiver and this bow is so light in mass weight, that I sprayed arrows all over the place.

All-in-all, I am now happy with my Kestral and hope to hunt with it in the next couple of weeks.  I want to practice more with it to become totally proficient before hunting.

Thanks for listening to my rambling.  I did not intend to get carried away.

I shoot my Kestral very well.I draw about 30 inches.I was pleasantly surprised with this little bow.

I use an Eagles flight 4 arrow hooded quiver on it with 3 arrow gripper. The quiver does have some setback.I also have a set of sims vibration dampeners on the limbs starting about 2.5 inches above the fadeouts.

Its a pretty stable shooter and quick and quiet and also smooth drawing.Overall very nice handling bow at 52 inches for me.
