When I cautioned my grandsons to be more careful when they shot because they may loose arrows they said "Why Grandpa? You can just make us more anyway."

My house looks similar in the winter... Besides the wife and I, I have 5 kids to arm! I always tell myself that practice only makes me better! :D

Funny I shold see this right now. I'm building some kids arrows right now or the first time ever. Looking at TG while glue dries. Unfortunately I only have a bohning single arrow jig. Only doing 4 for now so it won't take too long. I cut some old Red Head Carbon Fury 350s to 24" for now.

What do you use to cut the tapers, I have had trouble with my woodchuck on small diameter shafts

Lucas.
I use a wood chuck. I use a piece of aluminum arrow cut about 8 inches long as a guide for the 1/4 inch shafts.
I tape it in the groove that I'm using and feed the 1/4 inch shaft, though it. Works great.
Not sure what the aluminum shaft size is.
