Have her donate to RMEF and you will get Bugle which is a very nicely done magazine without all the "Extreme", "Blood paving", face painting BS you see in almost everything these days...and you will be contributing to a great cause.

Fur Fish and Game gets my vote. Been the best for me for many years.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!

Bow and Arrow Hunting is pretty good. Used to like Petersons and Bowhunter, but there is too much tech there these days overall to subscribe. Still grab one of the rack from time to time.

I really like Western Hunter magazine.  Nate Simmons and Ryan Hatfield used to be with Eastmans but now have this as a project.  Tons of very useful info on back country hunting, which is what I am crazy about.  I let my subscription to TBM go, figured I get better stories and info on this site when it comes to all things traditional  :)

TradArcher's World - Low on advertising and high of good stories.  It is a guality magazine.
Check out the Fall 2012 issue as I had an article in it.  The story was about my bow and written from the bows perspective.  Have another article ready to go about my lion hunting, just need to get the photos attached and sent.
